Well done to Amelia W (8S) who has been tested in theory and practical tests as a Stress & Rescue Specialty Diver. In addition, Amelia has also completed the React Right Speciality Diver and was also awarded her Speciality Diver Certification.

Congratulations to Elyse H (9E) who competed in the England North East Regional Championships and qualified for a few finals. Elyse's times from competitions within the national qualifying window have also ensured that she has gained a place in this year’s summer nationals too.

Building on the examination successes associated with the previous academic year which saw QEHS identified in ‘The Sunday Times Parent Power Survey’ as the third best co-educational school in the East Midlands, the Year 13 Class of 2025 are to be hugely congratulated - Post 1/3

upon securing mightily impressive A Level grades. Over half of all outcomes have been A*-B grades, with a quarter of grades being A*-A grades. With the best ever Value-Added figures (academic progress at A Level based on prior GCSE outcomes) - Post 2/3

With over 90% of results across all subjects being secured at grade 4 or higher and with over 40% of all grades secured between 7-9, students and teachers alike at QEHS are rightly proud of what has been achieved. Post 1/4

Indeed, with over 60% of students attaining at least seven grades at 7-9, this has resulted in the best Value Added figures the school has seen. Post 2/4
