Not surprising. When I last moved to a new CPU I found a 10-12x speed up hand crafting code in assembly vs C. (That was for the Zilog eZ80, asm vs Zilog's own C compiler, both for an industrial application and my code for it as a co-processor for the #SAMCoupe). #coding #dev
