March is Women’s History Month! We are kicking the month off by honoring the first woman to obtain a medical degree in the United States. Elizabeth Blackwell went on to pave the way for many women in medicine, including our current female providers.

We continue to look back at medical pioneers during Women’s History Month. Virginia Apgar’s name might be familiar to many parents. She established the Apgar score, which became a standard part of neonatal care. The Apgar score measures the health of a baby minutes after birth.

Our Military Service Member employee resource group dedicate a new flagpole at Quartz headquarters in Fitchburg. They were joined by local VFW 1318 and additional Quartz employees for this special ceremony.
