I have officially completed three weeks of graduate school, and I can honestly say I’m enjoying the UVA graduate student experience. Being a Data Science student at UVA has been both exciting and fulfilling—I feel intellectually challenged every day while building new skills.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a marketing photoshoot as a student ambassador for my Data Science program. It was a great experience, made even better by sharing it with my classmates who are also ambassadors.

My Computation for Data Science professor is extremely supportive of my desire to infuse quantum computing into my UVA Data Science experience. I desire to share my enthusiasm for quantum information and quantum computation with my graduate cohort.

Feels good to be back

Doing graduate research on Chinese Large Language Models has been exciting. I have made a lot of progress since starting in April. I also met my research faculty member at the data science building.

This upcoming week will be action-packed. It is the Intelligence and Security Careers Week at UVA. This will be an opportunity to network with different intelligence agencies. A career in national security is one of many careers I'm interested in pursuing as a Data Scientist.
