Check out our (Noah, Josh, and Alex Miller) recent study in Inorganic Chemistry on the oxidative addition of a P-O bond! This project all started with an attempted synthetic shortcut to access a NiH, but instead led to the discovery of new reactivity at low-valent Ni!

Excited for this paper from my postdoc w/ Akira T. to be in print J. Am. Chem. Soc. ! We showed that it is possible to invert traditional metal-ligand relationships and drive catalytic reactions solely from a hydridic P site without invoking reactivity at Ru!
