Invitations have gone out today, alongside letters home to parents / guardians with details about our Sports Presentation Evening Our awards evening takes place on Tuesday 8th July (6pm) and is always a fantastic celebration of our students achievements in PE and Sport 💥🏆

Our Year 7 and Year 9 Sport Leaders were outstanding this evening, organising, leading and supporting our Year 6 PE Transition evening. Well done to all involved, you smashed it 👊

A busy week last week with our Year 7 and Year 8 Rounders teams both becoming District Rounders Champions after winning their finals 👊 Well done all 💥🙌 Queen Elizabeth's High School

This evening marked our Annual Sport Presentation Evening. Tonight, we recognised the fantastic achievements of our students from this academic year. Who will be this years QEHS Sport Personality Of The Year 2025? 🏆

The first award of the evening went to students that have shown ‘Outstanding Effort and Engagement in PE’. These award winners have consistently shown outstanding levels of engagement in their PE lessons. Well done all 💥

The second category tonight was for those students that have shown ‘Outstanding Effort and Engagement in GCSE PE’. Our Year 10 students will be awarded for their outstanding efforts and achievements on their GCSE PE course this year. Congratulations all, keep up the good work👏

Our third award this evening recognises three of our Year 12 A Level PE students’ effort, engagement and achievements this year. Our Year 12 cohort have made an exceptional start to their A Level PE course and we are delighted to recognise the achievements of these students 👊💥

The next award presented this evening recognises students Outstanding Contributions to PE and School Sport. These students have immersed themselves in all aspects of PE and Sport, excellent engagement in lessons, involvement in extra-curricular activities, excellent leadership.

Next up, we recognise our Sport Leaders for their outstanding leadership this academic year. These students have all played important roles in whole school events, managed teams / led clubs or showed outstanding leadership in their PE lessons 👊 Well done all! 💥💥

The penultimate awards category is a special recognition award that honours the longevity of their commitment to PE and School Sport here at QEHS. This award goes to three special students whom have immersed themselves in all things PE and Sport since joining the school 🙌👊

Third place in this years QEHS Sport Personality of the Year goes to Phoebe B (Y8) 🥉 Phoebe now holds the record for the most awards won in the first two years since joining the school 💥👊 Congratulations Phoebe! 👏

This years Sport Personality of the Year second place is awarded to Niamh J (Y9) 🥈 Niamh immerses herself in all aspects of the PE Department, having also represented QEHS in no fewer than 7 activities!🤸🏐⚽️🏃‍♀️ Well done Niamh! 💥

The time has come to crown our 2025 QEHS Sport Personality of the Year… well done Harry C (Y10) 🥇 Harry has shown an excellent attitude towards all things PE and Sport as well as being an excellent role model to our younger students. Well done Harry 💥🙌

What a fantastic week! Due to rain, we had two Sports Days! Our students were outstanding, competing fiercly for House Championship points. We even had interviews with race winners! 🎤 Todays results mean a huge shake up in the House Championship standings 👀👀 Queen Elizabeth's High School

Congratulations to Elyse H (Y9) for becoming the 50m free regional champion, a result which ensures Elyse qualifies for the upcoming summer nationals competition. Well done Elyse, and best of luck at nationals! 💥🏊‍♀️

That’s a wrap on another incredible academic year! Well done and thank you to our outstanding students for all of their efforts once again this year! To finish another brilliant year, we found out earlier today we have been awarded the School Games Platinum Award! 👊💥
