Rami Jebara Vancouver School Board VSB counsel made it clear that they believe staff have unfettered discretion to dispose of programs and schools. Hard to believe unless you look at the school closures and sales (to name just Fleming, Bruce and Carleton) that are following fast on QEA's heels!

Harjit Khangura ABC in particular said they were against school closures. The first seconds of Ken Sim's victory speech included the line "we'll listen to parents." The last weeks - with huge moves to close schools or sell school lands (QEA, Fleming, Bruce and Carleton) show this was a lie.
