Couldn't think of a better way to start my Saturday than a block party & public health fair on Paseo Park, our groundbreaking open street. Thank you Queens Community House and P.S. 149!
We had fun at today’s Queens Community House Health Fair on our Open Streets. It was nice to be guests. We did temporary tatoos & gave out lots of info. Thank you to our volunteers. We also sponsored the Zumba class. Great event on 34AveOpenStreets !

I'm proud to have allocated more than $2 million to Queens Community House's Forest Hills center since becoming BP, because I couldn't be prouder of the work QCH's staff do every single day to support our neighbors.
No matter your race, identity or socioeconomic status, you are welcome there.
Congrats, Queens Community House! And congrats to every kid, teen, adult and senior who relies on the services offered at QCH's Forest Hills center.
From education resources to support for LGBTQIA+ teens to meals for seniors, this center does it all. It embodies the goodness of our borough.
Yesterday’s ribbon cutting Queens Community House represents a culmination of years of hard work. I’m proud to have been able to support these efforts & grateful to Queens Community House for the work they do in our community- this newly renovated facility will allow that work to continue for decades to come!
It was an honor to participate in my first ribbon-cutting ceremony as Acting President & CEO of Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, standing alongside Queens Community House for the unveiling of the renovated Forest Hills Community Center.
