The League of Women Voters invited Chief Wiete and other local law enforcement leaders to a panel discussion event last week. Chief Wiete appreciated the opportunity to speak to the group about important public safety matters. ✔️🚓

Congratulations to Officer Ahmani Colston and Officer Kevin Jones for recently graduating Crisis Intervention Team training. This 40-hour training teaches specialized skills to de-escalate mental health crises and connect individuals with mental health services.
