We remember the line-of-duty death of Sheriff Joe Tucker. He died May 2, 1950, in the crash of an airplane he was piloting after he agreed to transport a woman to her home in Minnesota after her husband was sentenced to prison. We will never forget the sacrifice of Sheriff Tucker
