On Monday we battled wind and a tide that never went out properly, and yesterday we had wind and rain, but our #SolentSeagrassChampions still managed to plant two seagrass seed plots at #Calshot and kept smiling right to the end! Solent Seascape Project Fingers crossed for seedlings!
15 mins shore time today and removed two drills (!) batteries and powered devices, sealant and 2 spoons! 'Over the side' may be over but accidents still happen, and that's a lot of chemistry in the marine environment. And losing the corkscrew is a major disaster! Solent Seascape Project
Had a great time helping out on the The Green Blue stand today!

Very excited to be spending the day on the The Green Blue stand at the #RYADinghyandWatersportsShow to spread the word on how to look after our #seagrass meadows and #SaveOurSeabed LIFE Recreation ReMEDIES The Wildlife Trusts
Today at the Project Seagrass nursery; Hampshire & IOW Wildlife Trust Marine and University of Portsmouth visited us, and we shared all things #seagrassseeds - even managed to get Tim Ferrero behind the microscope to revisit his #meiofauna days π¬π±

Breakfast in Berkley Square this morning (no nightingale) before heading off the the #RoyalInstitute for Ocean & Coastal Futures (OCF) CoastalFutures. An interesting and absorbing day ahead!
An epic day yesterday at UoP Marine Biology as 20 of our inspirational #SolentSeagrassChampions picked through our rotting-out mulch and found an extra 3000 seed for our #SolentSeagrassRestoration and #SolentSeascape projects!
