Key pointers;
* The budget is proposed to reduce by 7%
* A proposed increase of 17.8M to TSC to employ 40,000 teachers.
* A cut in the school feeding programme.
*Special education budget reduced from 1.5B to 963M.

#Health sector analysis of the #PBB for FY 2024/25

Key pointers;
* UHC is listed as a priority in FY2024/25. However, there is a significant reduction, is UHC still a priority with this reduction?​
* A 10% budget cut in the State Department of Medical Services.

Highlights of the #FinanceBill 2024
* The Bill proposes to generate additional revenue of Ksh. 377 billion which is 44% increase of what was raised in 2023.
* The Bill Proposes to raise the excise on Telephone and internet data services from 15% to 20%.
