A1: I felt like I had ZERO balance last year. Still getting back into the focused productivity groove. Now prioritizing those boundaries and working on saying no (even when I want to say yes!) #NoVAedchat

A2: moving from just flopping at the end of the day and calling it “me time” to doing things that really HELP me. This week I prepped 5 days of healthy and yummy breakfast and lunch for school. Now THAT feels good! #NoVAedchat

A3.1 I’ll admit it’s something I haven’t considered really ever. I went from demanding business world to new mom to new teacher to now veteran teacher with an active family. Too busy figuring it out to consider boundaries. #NoVAedchat

A3.2 in the last 2-3 years, amazing friends have done the work to create healthy boundaries and balance and it’s really inspired me to use the family and community I’m blessed with to find some space for myself. (Baby steps!) #NoVAedchat

A4: kids SOOOO appreciate and respect honest conversation, vulnerability and reflection. By sharing our practice we normalize the fact that everybody has challenges and we work and adjust to manage them. Lessons that go beyond content! #NoVAedchat

A5: seriously, that friend I have who is so generous in sharing inspiration on social media. Little reminders, affirmations and just good juju. You know I love you Margaret Sisler #NOVAEdchat

A6: start finding a time for personal hobbies (not cleaning, not kid crap, not work stuff, not basic Sarah maintenance 🤣). Leave behind the guilt of not being all the things for all the people. #NoVAedchat
