My students challenged me to make a 5-levels-of-difficulty-video for #NetworksforSocialImpact. The first level is explaining my book to my now 6th grader. My favorite part is around 1:02 when I ask him what he knows about what I do for a living. His answer was, "Not much." 🤣🤣

Every #network for #socialimpact will face a crossroads moment. the network will either adapt or disband. This article, which I co-authored with Kate Cooper, describes common crossroads moments (e.g., losing major funding) and what networks can do now to prepare to face them.

Let's talk with Allen Swilley, who works at Fair Housing Agency as a Director of Organizational Effectiveness and see how he understands nonprofits for social impact as the 4th part of our project "Understanding Networks". Professional opinion ow.ly/S8l050Konjn

I always enjoy talking with Allen Swilley about #NetworksforSocialImpact. He is now leading My Brother's Keeper in Chicago and demonstrating his collaborative leadership skills. He's a #socialimpact leader to watch.
