The fact that our work not only has a temporal but also an eternal significance is one of the unique glories of the Christian faith… it should also be a source of great wonder and encouragement to us that God is interested in our work.

Can we live with AI? (Part 1) Transhumanism is the fundamental idea is that humans become gods by trusting technology. The central message of the Christian faith is that God became human.

Can we live with AI? (Part 2) There is a desire to transform ourselves into something super-intelligent through technology and cybernetics... BUT, God has already shown his approval of the human beings he created by himself becoming one.

Can we live with AI? (Part 3) The problem of human death transhumanism tries to navigate has been solved 20 centuries ago when God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. The 'divine upgrade' is that we can become children of God and put on immortality.

"'I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort... Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,' says the Lord" - Isaiah 57:19

"Now many the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will" - Hebrews 13:20-21a

Either human intelligence ultimately owes its origin to mindless matter; or there is a Creator. It is strange that some people claim that it is their intelligence that leads them to prefer the first to the second.
