Honored to share my career with AO Foundation Research Institute in Davos, Switzerland hosted by Dr. Vernengo. Focused on newer work with James Iatridis Mount Sinai Orthopedics (thanks Christopher Panebianco, PhD Sanjna Rao) and fostered by links between CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering The Cooper Union and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Ecstatic to be with my ChemE Ed people to present collaborative work between The Cooper Union CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering, Mount Sinai Orthopedics Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and AO Foundation. Thank you ASEE for allowing me to talk on behalf of the team! Shout out Christopher Panebianco, PhD Neharika Bhadouria

Always excited to join Mount Sinai Orthopedics in their annual field day. Go team red! Second place is a win in my book. Thank you James Iatridis @thewooj Nilsson Holguin Hubmacher lab for inviting CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering to join in the fun! And the continuing The Cooper Union Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai connection

So thrilled to welcome fellow Cornell BME alum Mike Mitchell to the The Cooper Union! Please join us at CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering to hear all about Dr. Mitchell’s career in pushing modern drug delivery.

Reminder to all: the Kraut Lecture in Chemical Engineering featuring our guest speaker, Dr. Mike Mitchell (Mike Mitchell), from Penn Bioengineering is happening tomorrow night from 5-6pm The Cooper Union CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering. The event is free and open to the public!

Beyond ecstatic for our Cooper Brue team from The Cooper Union for winning both best beer label and 3rd place overall in the annual beer brewing competition at AIChE. Go team and thanks Ana for helping us compete! And yes, the poster is hand drawn!

Shoutout to all my CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering students who crushed their presentations at the undergrad research competition. And thanks to Dr. Shah The Cooper Union and Dr. Vernengo Rowan University for all their help!

Congratulations Emma for winning 1st place in the materials science division at AIChE for the work we do CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering The Cooper Union and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai! It’s truly a joint effort between us at Cooper and Dr. Han (@thewooj) and Dr. Marshall at Sinai!

Congratulations to Ana for nailing her talk in the unit operations session. Ana explained how we developed a hands-on, inexpensive bioreactor experiment for senior lab CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering The Cooper Union. Turns out beer brewing is a model ChemE process!

And that’s a wrap on AIChE 2023. Shout out to Dr. Andrea Vernengo Rowan University for presenting our work and Wesley Wong The Cooper Union for their final day talks. Thank you CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering for supporting so many of our ChE students to present at the AIChE annual convention.

Symposium: Thinking Outside the Box: Exploring Innovative Solutions to Unmet Clinical Needs in Spine (In collaboration with the Orthopaedic Research Society Innovation Committee, ORS Spine Section, ORS Industry Alliance Committee, and Guest Clinical Society- NASS on Feb4th from 1-2:30PM #ORS2024

Has your teaching been feeling a little stiff? Swing by the Orthopaedic Research Society NIRA - Biomarkers, Models, Crosstalk and New Approaches! 📍Rm 104 @ 9:15 AM #OrthoTwitter #Engineering #STEMEducation #DEI

First up is Jennifer R. Weiser discussing vertically integrated projects to enhance student learning, buy in, and development of technical skills. This is a very cool model for how we can get undergrad students involved with orthopedic research early, and help graduate students mentor

Always so thrilled to join the orthopaedic community to talk about the amazing education work we have done across institutes. Thank you to those CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering The Cooper Union Mount Sinai Orthopedics Rowan University and the people! Christopher Panebianco, PhD James Iatridis @thewooj

So excited our collaborative workshop paper from the Chemical Engineering Summer School 2022 in Chemical Engineering Education Journal (CEE) with Courtney Pfluger Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University and Kristine Horvat University of New Haven is finally published! Thanks The Cooper Union CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering for supporting my fun education work! journals.flvc.org/cee/article/vi…

So excited to announce I have received a Fulbright Award to be the 2024-2025 Visiting Professor at TU Graz in Graz, Austria. I can't wait to bring all the fun pedagogy and research I do The Cooper Union CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering to TU Graz and their IBioSys Institute. cooper.edu/engineering/ne…

I am honored to be giving a talk in Milan Politecnico di Milano about my career in biomaterials and collaborations in Science, Art, and Education through The Cooper Union CU Albert Nerken School of Engineering with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Mount Sinai Orthopedics Rowan University. Grazie Prof. Graziani!
