It was indeed a pleasure to receive the management of the African Development bank, today in my office in Calabar. We had a robust discussion bordering on the benefits the state will derive from intervention by the African Development Bank Group in the area of Human Capital Development.
Yesterday, I represented governor Sir Ben Ayade at the Nigeria Governors' Forum meeting which held in Abuja, Nigeria. The meeting went well and we had very fruitful deliberations.
Currently attending the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, at the State House, Abuja. The council is chaired by the Vice President, with membership drawn from Governors of the 36 states, the FCT Minister & Central Bank of Nigeria Gov.
Today, I was at the PDP National Secretariat Wadata plaza, Abuja, where I represented governor Sir Ben Ayade at the 89th (Emergency) National Executive Committee meeting of the PDP which held today in Abuja.
Earlier today, I stood in for His Excellency, Sir Sir Ben Ayade at the Passing Out Ceremony for the NYSC 2019 Batch 'A' Service Year, held at U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar Cross River State. I am wishing all the 2019 NYSC Batch 'A' the very best in their future endeavours.
