The passing of Professor Arefin Siddique, former VC of Dhaka University, profoundly saddens me—my deepest condolences to Mrs. Siddique and the family. My fond memories of Professor Siddique during the 50th convocation of Dhaka University in 2017 will live on. RIP, dear friend.
