We sent overseas grants totaling £74,962 last year.
This includes Survival Grants, payments from our Vitamin Fund, Medical Fund, and Wellbeing Fund, and emergency response payments. This support pays for everything from food and water, to mattresses and blankets.

Excitement in the Prisoners Abroad office today as we took delivery of a big batch of newly updated 'Coming home' handbooks. An incredible resource that we send to help people prepare for release and coming to the UK, packed full of practical information and personal stories.
Last year, we supported a total of 1,253 people across 96 countries. This included 295 new cases. 🌍

Last year we made 41 payments from our Medical Fund across 14 countries.
This paid for, among other things: an ultrasound; anti-inflammatory medication; insulin; psychiatric medication; dental treatment; eye tests; and painkillers.
