Thursday the 6th March is World Book Day. Our MPS Librarians would like to invite children to dress up as a character from your favourite book or simply to come in casual clothes for a fun filled day of stories and adventures. x

On Friday our Rainbow Room shop will be open for pupils to buy items such as pencils, pens, key rings and much more. Please bring some money to school to visit the shop. Prices start from 20p! Money will be used for school funds. Can’t wait to see you all 🌈💙💛

P6 Volleyball has been a huge hit. Lots of great teamwork, cooperation, communication and developing skills on display today. We’re looking forward to some competitive action in our round robin competition next week!! ☺️👏👏 Muirhouse PS&Nursery

May was a busy month. Here are some of the things we learned, starting with 3d objects and their nets. We’ve learned to identify them and create our own models…

We enjoyed our trip to the Riverside Museum and learned lots about transport in the past as well as a visit to the Tall Ship.

We began our block of learning in the cooking kitchen. It’s good to try something new! Some loved our healthy weetabix/greek yogurt/biscoff dish 🥰… others, not so much 🤢 😆

We had a great time cooking up a tasty treat yesterday. Cutting, measuring, mixing & tasting new foods was fun & the coronation chicken pasta was a big hit! The recipe made its way home with some of our chefs, so fingers crossed they try out their new skills at home too👩‍🍳 👨‍🍳 👌
