Our new P1 learners had a great first day exploring their new classrooms. P1 CPS

Crocodile Snap ✏️ 🐊 Today we worked in small groups to develop our pincer grip. We had to follow the dotted lines carefully 💫

Things got a little bit messy this afternoon during number time ✏️💫. We enjoyed using the crazy soap to practise forming our number 1s correctly. We learned a little rhyme to help us … Number 1 stands straight and tall, be careful that he doesn’t fall 🐧

Exploring Number 2 🌟✏️ Up, round, down & along, number 2 will not be wrong!

We love getting messy 🎨 😂. We used our finger to blend chalk pastels together to create an octopus. We then practised our cutting skills by cutting up the dotted lines carefully ✂️

We have been enjoying playing pairs with our friends. We have been learning to take turns and developing our memory skills by searching for the matching pictures 🧠 🍎 #prephonologicalawareness

This weeks number was number 4 ✏️ Number 4 goes down and along with a walking stick to make him strong Why not practise this at home? You could use paint, chalk, shaving foam or you may even think of a more creative way to practise forming our new number 🌟

We had lots of fun during ‘PPI Time’ today. We made empire biscuits with Mrs Kidd, practised our sewing skills & running stitch with Mrs Mardon and practised different techniques with watercolour paints to paint flowers with Mrs Wilson 🌺 🧵 🪡 🍪.
