This weekend, I caught up with some of the hundreds of Bowling Green State University students who participated in our annual For the Public Good event, leading service opportunities across campus and beyond. I am so proud of how our students, faculty and staff continue to create public good.

#BGSUMoveIn is now complete! It takes significant planning and coordination to move in thousands of students, and I want to thank all who led this year's efforts, as well as the 600 volunteers who made it possible. We are so glad to have our @BGSU students moved in!

On this first day of the new academic year, I want to thank our @BGSU faculty and staff who put so much into preparing to welcome students to our campuses. I am proud of this learning community and look forward to how, together, we will move our University forward this year!

On this Labor Day, we recognize all who work to move our University forward, especially our dedicated faculty and staff, who are unwavering in their commitment to our students and the @BGSU experience. Thank you for all the momentum and public good you create each and every day.

It was great to meet with so many students at Campus Fest! With hundreds of student organizations, from the sciences to the arts, club sports and so much more, there is absolutely something for everyone at @BGSU. Thank you to all who planned and attended this year's event.

The Falcon Marching Band is off to Happy Valley! With 425 members, we just might be able to hear them in Bowling Green, all the way from Pennsylvania! We are looking forward to supporting BGSU Football and BGSU Falcon Marching Band during this weekend's game at Penn State! #AyZiggy

What a day for @BGSU in Happy Valley, taking a top 10 team to the final minutes of the game! We are so proud of how BGSU Football, BGSU Falcon Marching Band and our spirit programs competed at the highest level and represented Bowling Green so well on such a big stage! #AyZiggy

Thank you to the Black Swamp Arts Festival for a great weekend in Bowling Green! Sandra B. Earle and I enjoyed seeing the art on display, especially pieces created by @BGSU students. This ceramics piece was our annual purchase of student art. Thank you to the artist, Liz!

Thank you to all who attended the Falcon Golf Classic in Cleveland this week in support of the Thompson Working Families Scholarship Program at @BGSU. It was a great day supporting current and future Thompson Scholarship recipients from the Cleveland area!

Today and always, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including two @BGSU alumni, Kathy Nicosia '69 and William Ruth '71, '73, and all the heroic first responders who acted in the face of terror. #NeverForget

It was another busy afternoon at @BGSU, with sporting events and activities across campus. It was great to catch the BGSU Women's Rugby and BGSU Men's Rugby matches at home, and the BGSU Baseball game today!
