November is prostate cancer awareness month. Prostate cancer is more common than you may think, it is the most frequent cancer among males. This November take some time to learn and spread awareness about this all too common disease.

We are happy that #WorldCancerDay is addressing the vital gaps in policy protocol around patient care. PRAISE-U will be testing various screening protocols through pilot sites across Europe to ensure processes correctly address patient needs in diverse care environments.

Katharina Beyer presented the PRAISE-U project at #ECR2024 in Vienna. She discussed how prostate cancer screening programmes are an excellent example of multidisciplinary collaboration between policy, patients, and HCPs influenced a new era of PCa early detection.

Creating a PCa screening programme tailored to the diverse nations of Europe requires flexibility and collaboration. Hein Van Poppel presented the updates on the Praise-U project at the meeting of the national societies in Noordwijk.
