Owls arrived this morning to find that snow had fallen, making our garden even more magical! We wrapped up warm to investigate. The snow was cold on our hands as we added it to our garden kitchen, making snow cakes.  We made snow angels and took turns riding on the sledges.

Form 2 would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Jing for joining us today, teaching the children how to make lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year, and the year of the rabbit 🐇 The children had so much fun, what a fantastic morning, thank you Mrs Jing! #ChineseNewYear

Owls have been exploring the Lunar New Year Festival, focusing on Chinese traditions.  With our special visitor, the children gathered around the table, learning first hand, the art of dumpling making.  What an wonderful and authentic experience.  Thank you Mrs Jing!

Pownall ‘Buddies’. KG to Form 6 have been paired with children in another class. Seeing our older pupils instinctively taking care of their younger peers was genuinely heartwarming, the Pownall spirit will surely be enriched and nurtured for many years to come.

Chamber Choir 🎼 The chamber choir were invited to take part in a concert hosted by Sale Salvation Army, to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. They sang beautifully in harmony - we could hear each note perfectly in the very large venue! Well done 💫

World Book Day 2023 🌼 Pre-Prep looked fantastic in their costumes and enjoyed their traditional parade. In Prep, pupils were treated to a visit from a real life author in the form of Harriet Goodwin, whose books have been nominated for multiple awards and prizes!
