Some great examples of partners #NaturalFloodManagement during The Flood Hub #NFM awareness week 🌧️🏞️. Where we make log jams, we've always made them living, with loads of lengths of willow being behind each structure. Why? Because dead softwood is decayed after 10 years!

Our thoughts are with all those affected by #StormChristoph. As we begin to think about the storms impact we may also need to look upstream, see how landscapes are managed and how water runs-off the land and what can be done to naturally slow and temporarily hold excess flow.
