Thank you to artist/author Dr. Norberto Gomez for visiting w/our 5th graders & leading a workshop on visual communication this week. Dr. Gomez visited from Maryland where he is a Department Chair at Montgomery College. The students loved hearing from him!

Second graders at Powell Elementary had the special privilege of meeting author Patrick Carman this morning. 📚 The students had a great time learning about word pictures, and one student came prepared with a pen and paper to get a special autograph.
