Reminder‼️The club will be having a team meeting on Wednesday 25th at our club house at 6:30. All current players and players who would like to join or who are considering joining are welcome to come along and hear the plans for the season ahead.

Final reminder‼️‼️‼️ Club meeting tomorrow, 6:30 at the club. There is a cricket match on so we will be sharing the facilities but if the weather is awful we will change to a local pub. Please keep an eye out here if weather is bad.

Tonights meeting will definitely be at the club. There is currently a marquee up that we are able to use if the weather is bad and the cricket team have the pavilion.

We can confirm that we will be starting pre-season training on the 7th July. Anyone is welcome.

Last night we had our first friendly of the season, drawing 3:3 against Cirencester Pilgrims. A great first game for us with a new system and players. Fitness played its part but a fantastic performance by all.

First league result today Vs Cricklade Town Reserves. A very enjoyable early season game. Congratulations to our players for such immense effort today.

It’s that time of year again. Are you looking to play men’s football? Poulton FC welcome anyone interested in playing so please do make contact.

A game where the better team certainly lost. A poor goal to concede from a set piece made it 0:1 before a clear penalty to ourselves was not awarded and a truly unacceptable decision from the referee and opposition captain meant a late penalty. We will have our revenge.

Improving but still wanting more. This weekend we look to progress in the cup. More poor defending at a set-piece cost us last week but unbelievable resilience and fight was shown to get the equaliser in the last 10. Once again we were the better team but not clinical enough.

Last week just wasn’t good enough. Our worst performance of the season, including pre-season, showed in last weekends cup result. We head out today with a fire in our bellies to turn things around.

What a difference a week makes. On the 30th we lost 7:3, playing 60 minutes with 10. Saturday, we beat top 1-0. Recent tactical changes have made a difference, visible in our most recent defeat with the score at 2:2 before our red and much more evident in our 1:0 win.
