Whatever marketing agency Hockey Canada paid to have that logo created with that style almost a decade ago, it must have been some $$$ contract. They are certainly trying to milk something here that the majority of people dislike.

Dallas, these are nice, no question. But... I don't think the majority of fans wanted Reverse Retro 3.0. No innovation. No tweaking. No color swapping. You just needed to use this warm-up jersey from a few years ago during Zubov night. It was an easiest and best decision.

To clarify, since Stars twitter is having a mental breakdown from any criticism about this jersey at all, when I said “fans” in my post I was talking about jerseys fans and jersey collectors. Not specifically Stars fans only. Geesh.

Congrats to team USA and America on the gold medal win! Canada had all the opportunities to win and couldn’t get it done when it mattered most. It’s been a fun few weeks of Olympic Hockey! Shame we have to wait another 4 years for this!
