Diane Carlson Evans joined the Army Nurse Corps and served in Vietnam from 1968-1969. She served in the burn unit of the 36th Evacuation Hospital in Vung Tau and at Pleiku in the 71st Evacuation Hospital. She recalls the challenges of being a young nurse. bit.ly/343jmLs

We understand the justified reasons for the cancellation but we share the disappointment of so many 2020 graduating Seniors who were not able to end their HS careers on the diamond.

It is with sad news that I must share that former Post 171 PPC and Senior Legion baseball coach, Bob Ray, passed away on Saturday, May 15th. He was 87. Bob was an avid baseball enthusiast, and he was a former State Baseball Chairman. RIP Coach Ray.
