There is a flash of recognition in his eyes before breaking out into quiet giggles. “Ahhh I see why you’re so familiar now- Sorry for accusing you-“ His smile only gets brighter. “Hello firefly, it’s been some time huh.”

“Surprise..?” Now it’s his turn to be nervous. “That’s kinda why I’ve been absent…” He’s scratching the back of his neck.

“I’m just as surprised as you are! I normally can’t-“ He doesn’t finish the sentence instead giggling once again as he’s scooped up. “Yes you are, we are parents!”

He reaches up to try removing the mask. “Also what’s with this disguise? Did something bad happen that you have to be in hiding?”

“Alright, I promise!” His curiosity grows more at what the cause could be, but he also just wants to properly kiss his partner.

Carefully Porty removes the mask and is now fighting every urge to coo at him. “I- ahem. I don’t- see why this would be embarrassing?”

His eyes light up yellow, pupils turning into little stars as he coos and showers the other in kisses. “You look so adorable!!!!”

“Overjoyed.” He chirps, now just comfortably nuzzling against the other. “But I do have to ask- how did this happen?”

“Ahhh, makes sense, same thing happened to me with my stone monkey form at first.” He’s quiet for a few moments. “…I missed you…”

“It’s a very adorable baby boy.” A soft, affectionate tone taking over now. “Tiny little stubs for horns and very cute floppy ears like you. He has a face mask and little sharp teeth like me.”

He reaches up to carefully wipe away the tears. “Of course we can go see him.”

He laughs a little, one last quick peck. “Would you like me to use shadow portals to get there fast or would you like to travel home someway else?”

"I think you might explode from excitement- let's take the fast route home!" It takes him a moment to summon up a portal big enough but once he does he walks through and is instantly greeted with his house. Making his way to the bedroom to scoop up the sleeping baby to show off.

Porty carefully scoops up the baby, turning to show Red Son. "Here he is... sleeping soundly as ever." A soft smile adorns his face. It felt nice to feel whole again, like everything is finally how it should be.

“You’re allowed to hold him.” Soft chuckles emit from the monkey as he holds out the little one towards the bull.
