Portugal is attending the 1st #FFD4 PrepCom in Addis Ababa, with a full work agenda this week, committed to rebuilding trust and promoting dialogue. There is no need to reinvent the wheel, but rather finding ways of spinning it faster and better in alignment with the SDGs.

Following his election as Co-Chair of the FFD4 PrepCom Bureau today, Ambassador Rui Vinhas noted FFD4 is key to restoring trust in multilateralism and set us back on track to achieve the SDGs. To that end, he call on all to focus on ambitious and politically feasible solutions.

At #FFD4 PrepCom 1 in Addis Abeba, Portugal highlighted key priorities: ➡️IFA reform (debt, MDB, go beyond GDP) ➡️Private sector invest., concessional finance access and innovative SDG financing mechanisms (debt swaps) ➡️New cooperation modalities (triangular cooperation)
