We are so sorry to have lost in George, not only a true Walworth gentleman - who was always game for our heritage projects - but one who was also a huge part of Walworth's rich tailoring history.

At the #Wandsworth election count, the vital wards look to be Lavender, South Balham and Trinity. Because of boundary changes, there is no party which "held" these until today. Anywa, bundles for the two parties currently look very even in all those wards.

Labour big hitters out in force tonight - London mayor Sadiq Khan, Tooting MP Rosena Alin Khan and Battersea MP Marsha de Cordova and Putney's Fleur Anderson (in a blue floral dress...) Haven't seen a Tory bigwig, but current council leader Ravi Govindia must be here somewhere?

Lavender and South Balham still looking very narrow. St Mary's is another one which could currently go either way and dictate who rules #Wandsworth from tomorrow.

Labour have won Trinity which was one of the could-go-either-way wards. All the cheers are currently coming from the Labour activitists while the Conservative cheers are quieter.

We are now going deep into the split wards. Labour has taken one of the three latest on offer - taking them to 27, three away from victory in #Wandsworth

At #Lewisham count today, very much in the shadow of the drama this morning (5am) in Wandsworth: Labour's Damien Egan won mayor vote here with 58 per cent of vote. Only surprise was the Green's Nick Humberstone coming second, beating Conservatives into third; LibDems were fourth.

Biggest drama of the count. A pole holding up the backdrop to the podium collapsed. On an unrelated matter, cabinet member for housing Paul Bell was having his pic taken after winning in Telegraph Hill ward.

An undramatic count in #Lewisham today - the closest anyone came to dislodging a Labour candidate was the Greens in Ladywell ward and they were 200 votes away
