I was very pleased to meet Vishal K. Dev, Principal Secretary, Energy Odisha, at the 'Net Zero Vision for Bhubaneswar' workshop UKinKolkata🇬🇧🇮🇳 have arranged in partnership with GRIDCO Odisha & ICF.

Mr Dev is an alumni of Institute of Development Studies in 2009/10 & has warm memories of his year in Sussex.

I wonderful dinner with Proffessor Supriya Pattniak of Centurion University & my colleague Haimanti Poddar who were themselves reunited after many years of close collaboration when Supriya represented DFID in Odisha.

We discussed multiple possibilities for even closer 🇬🇧 Odisha ties.
