Been retro-gaming my favorite childhood game, Final Fantasy 1 on the NES. Dragonlance themed Fighter, Thief, White mage, Black mage. I think I'm having just as much fun hacking the save files as I am playing it.

So my ranger cast Summon Beast and has a magical dolphin helping him fight a drow elf 15' underwater. The scimitar does a Wild Magic Surge on a nat 20. Two crits later, a unicorn is summoned (15' underwater), and then Bran turns into a potted plant. It was a real odd session.

...but everything changed when the Elon nation attacked.
