Looks like some activity on the former Norwich Union building/multi-storey car park site at Castle St/Fountain St. McAleer & Rushe has planning approval for an £80m student accommodation block (895 units). Westgate House also due to be torn down for the build.

Work on our 'Seeding Success' street art project on Linenhall St is ramping up this week. Did you know that Linenhall St itself was the site where BBC Northern Ireland first went on the air in 1924 before becoming the preeminent media organisation it is today?

We love the new green wall on The Linenhall offices on Linenhall St, installed by Killultagh and supported by Belfast City Council. As the first one installed in Belfast City Centre, we hope it serves as an inspiration to other landlords to green up our city through innovative means.

Many thanks to Department for Infrastructure for acting on our requests to reinstate bicycle stands in Adelaide Street and repair the cycle lane bollards in Alfred Street. We will keep working with the Department to identify missing and damaged street furniture in the future.

Great to see that public realm works around Translink's Grand Central Station are progressing well, with the Grosvenor Rd public realm now complete. Preparation works for Saltwater Square are also in full swing, with the new Square on course to be completed by Spring 2026.
