Junior High students participated in an inferencing mystery in Mrs. Gibson's ELA class. They had to find clues and try to uncover who stole a painting!

Mrs. Fontaine's 7th grade science students had a fun time exploring the science of bubbles! Bubbleology-the study of bubbles!

Forensics students also learned about lifting fingerprints from surfaces!

Just a reminder: SISD will have a staff workday on Monday, January 8, 2024. Students will return on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Congratulations to Kyle Abdul, Nevaeh Peterson, Landen Hooks, Citori Stakes, Landon Heim, and Cole Bigbie for receiving Pirate Pride awards! These students were nominated by their teachers for showing dedication. They will get to enjoy lunch at Elijah's Cafe.

It's National School Lunch Week, the cafeteria staff put together a scavenger hunt for the students. The ones who found a ticket were able to redeem it in the cafeteria for a treat.
