This week, we were learning about surrealism and the artist Rene Magritte. I taught my kiddos how to draw an eye, and the students had to draw either a landscape, something that made them happy, or a famous art piece, inspired by the art work: The False Mirror. The first photography club at Loma Park Elementary has come to an end. I'm so proud of my kiddos. We had a blast taking photos, learning about lines, composition, rules of thirds, and Photoshop.
