In Lakefield, Jerrod Hansen leads the men’s club tournament with nine holes to go. Hansen is at 108 through 27 holes, leading Dustin Pohlman by two and Scott Flatebo by five. Hansen has won the title four straight years and has a record six total championships.

Jerrod Hansen shot 146 to win his fifth straight and seventh total club championship at Valley Brook, extending his records in both categories. Scott Flatebo was second (147) and Dustin Pohlman third (148).

Brett Benson finished 14th at the Northwest Amateur in Spencer, Iowa. He shot 2-under-par 286 for the tournament. Jackson Laven of Okoboji shot 276 to win by one.

Jackson leads Lakefield 22-14 in the Emerald Cup after two rounds at the Jackson Golf Club today. The tournament concludes with two rounds at Valley Brook tomorrow.

For the first time ever, the ladies of Lakefield are winners of the Vino Cup. Lakefield beat Jackson 11.5-6.5 today at Valley Brook, ending Jackson’s string of five straight wins.

Lakefield rallied on its home course to win the Emerald Cup 37.5-34.5 over Jackson. Jackson led 22-14 after two rounds on its home course yesterday before Lakefield outscored Jackson 23.5-12.5 on its home course today.
