Friday’s Freshman Orientation was a success! Freshmen, we hope that it was a fantastic way to kick off your HS journey! Our StuCo & our Cheerleaders showcased the spirit and pride of our Blue Flame community. We’re excited to see all that you will accomplish in the years ahead!

A huge thank you to our team in the Guidance Office (Mrs. Cudd, Mrs. Guyette, Mrs. Hulme, Mrs. Clark, Ms. Spooner and Dr. Butler) for all of their hard work and for going for the gold to get us ready for the first day of school!

Congratulations to Stephen Rowland on winning the very first award as our True Blue Teacher of the Month! Stephen, a PHS alum, teaches Physical Science. He is also in his very first year of teaching!

It is official: Pickens High School is now home to the District Teacher of the Year! Congratulations to our very own, Dr. Ashley Butler, who has been chosen as the 2024-2025 SDPC Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of Dr. Butler, she is so deserving of this prestigious honor!
