🔥WIN! Bunny Vs Monkey book eight, The Impossible Pig, is published in about six weeks time. But I have a bundle of advance copies here, so to be in with a chance of not only winning a SIGNED COPY, but getting to read it over a month before anyone else, just RT this tweet!

Oh no! How terrible that must have been... Wonder if (hope?) the journalists hating writing this garbage as much as I dislike reading it? telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/…

Strange piece that seems to obfuscate (deliberately or accidentally?) the distinction between whether current green policies are effective and can realistically be expected to achieve net zero with whether it is necessary to get to net zero ASAP.

Realise standards across the board are not high but Owen Hargreaves is plumbing new depths for banal/insipid/utterly pointless second chair analysis for this Man Utd game.

🚨Major IpsosUK research for the Electoral Commission shows that potentially between 7-8 million people who are eligible to be registered are missing or incorrectly registered on the local government registers. 1/

The scale and speed of what’s unfolding in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel is bone-chilling. The whole region is at a tipping point. The violence must stop. My statement:

As a rule of thumb, the conclusion "[ergo] stop paying your BBC licence fee" is most likely (>95% of the time) the wrong one.

Great example of a nice resource (lovely data-viz) that is being misinterpreted or deliberately misused (in real time!) because there is no context or commentary on the modelling, the assumptions involved and (importantly) which of the scenarios SAGE were using as most likely

Before the 2019 General Election Electoral Commission saw 660,000 applications to register to vote on the last day before the deadline. Why aren't people registering earlier? Find out on the new episode of Politics Talk 🎙️ 👀bit.ly/PT-Watch-Dec 👂bit.ly/PT-Listen-Dec

With Klopp, if you want the great stuff you have to accept this as well. It is two sides of the same coin: he is a class act and a great human being which means he's also had the normal human reaction to 9+ years of all encompassing stress - take a break.

New report from DLUHC committee on electoral registration makes direct call for assisted registration supported by other public service providers. I discussed this on IpsosUK podcast with Phil Thompson from Electoral Commission and Ellen Berry JRRT listennotes.com/podcasts/ipsos…
