The Taipans had been carefully monitoring McVeigh all off-season. Understanding his desire to get another NBA chance, they waited patiently, and then found a way to make it all work to lure the champion up north. Being patient doesn't always pay off... but it did here. Big time!

Who makes your All-NBL First team in #NBL26? There’s still a couple big signings to go, but give me your five, cause I’ve never struggled so much to narrow down this crop of talent to just 5 players I want to say there’s a couple of locks, but maybe no such thing this season?
