We’re here in Sweden at Stockholm+50, talking nature finance with nearly 100 ministers, corporate executives, and nonprofit leaders. Big forum, with big stakes. Many thanks to @DEFRAGovUK for the chance to emcee — and for their landmark £330M contribution to @TheGEF.

Today I'm inspired by Mardea Glassgow and many other Liberian women I've met during my travels in the country. She is a leader in her fishing community and has recently invested in a new fish dryer. Now she smokes double as much fish as before, and earns double.

It was indeed a great honor to present the success stories of the Blue Ocean Program activities currently implemented in Southeastern Liberia to H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, at Sweden's 500-year National Day celebration today.
