Hackney’s low traffic neighbourhoods are full of people enjoying the good weather and walking/cycling/hanging out. No wonder they reduce street crime. Emergency vehicles can still use them as short cuts too.

Great news for London’s cyclists 🚲 By the end of the month, London’s Cycleway network will have quadrupled from 90km in 2016 to more than 360km. Just in the last year, 20 new Cycleway sections have opened connecting 600,000 Londoners to the cycle network.

The proposed 20mph zones are not being "imposed against the will of residents" in #Coventry. In fact, in consultation, 75% said they supported the zone. Suggesting otherwise undermines the important engagement that has taken place with the local community.
