Loved this series of The Great Pottery Throw Down and delighted to see Siobhán McSweeney back hosting for the last episodes, what a natural! I recorded her electrical safety story a couple of years ago and she was as delightful as you’d hope. Such talented potters as well, wanted them all to win!

In today’s list of #Brexit opportunities Jacob Rees-Mogg seems to want to destroy safety standards that I spent ten years campaigning for. I hope this has been misrepresented in the tabloids. Taking control shouldn’t mean putting consumers at risk.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s biggest arts festival with around 3,000 shows. But the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society has decided not to offer a smartphone app this year which will have a damaging effect on ticket sales for smaller shows. Does anyone know why this backward step has been taken?
