Today I announced that NSW will authorise aerial shooting as a method to reduce the wild horse population in Kosciuszko National Park.   Existing control methods will remain.   This was not an easy decision but an essential one to protect our only alpine park.

We just locked in two new renewable energy generation projects and another three storage projects. NSW is now almost halfway to our 2030 renewable generation target, and over a quarter of the way there on our long-duration storage target.

Our community has lost two young men who were building a wonderful life together. Family and friends of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies are now living with an unimaginable loss. We grieve with you. I recommit to doing what I can to make our communities safe for everyone.

LGBTQ+ people are fine just the way they are. There is no place in NSW for harmful conversion and suppression practices. This Bill to ban these practices deserves bi-partisan support.

I am horrified to hear about the events at Bondi Junction this afternoon. I am making immediate arrangements to return to Sydney. I want to thank NSW Police, emergency services and first responders and the community for their bravery in the face of this shocking incident.

No woman should lose their life to domestic homicide. On National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day, know that the NSW Government is committed to taking action. We won’t stop fighting until women are safe. 1800respect.org.au

Families come in all shapes and sizes. Every single one is precious. Supporting families is one of the best things local, state & federal governments can do. Banning books about families is one of the worst things. Cumberland Council, time to reverse this decision.

Breaking news: The NSW Legislative Assembly has voted against nuclear power having a future in the NSW energy mix. Not one Liberal or National Party MP voted for or against that proposition.

This is a responsible decision that protects us from blackouts and price spikes while we continue with the transition to renewable energy.

Today we face the reality of the harm caused by our state’s criminalisation of homosexuality. We acknowledge the prejudice, violence and contempt embedded in these laws. We mourn the families broken, the jobs lost and the lives lived in fear. We say sorry.
