A letter in The Penn Libraries's The Philadelphia Orchestra archives led to a fascinating string of research by librarians. The letter, typewritten in Spanish, was sent from Buenos Aires to Philadelphia in July 1959 looking for information on Tchaikovsky's time in our fair city.
