🩵💛💜We had lots to celebrate today! Mrs Jones held our celebration assembly early and we had a to say goodbye and good luck to Mrs Baker as she leaves us today to start her maternity leave. Don’t forget to send us lots of pictures and visit us when you can Rachel Baker 🩵💛💜

Our family learning took place this afternoon and was a great success with parents and relatives enjoying some simple coding using Lego Spike. Looking forward to next weeks robotics and technology challenge. Thank you to all that attended.

Building on from what we know of religious places of worship, some of the class used Minecraft to build their own versions. The building had to be waterproof and able to hold 100 people that would want to pray. Lots of creativity in this cross curricular task.

What a wonderful end to the term. We were lucky to have Mr. Roberts come in today and show us the wonderful things we can do in the classroom with 'I Can Animate'. We learned how to speed an object up and slow it down with simple pictures captured in multiple frames.

Half term has begun, but the learners have spent the last 5 weeks thinking about the question "Do you believe?" We have looked at different religions, their similarities and where they are in the world. We believe in a diverse world where there shouldn't be wars or fighting.

Today our learners looked at causes and effects within an explanation, narrating over a recorded video using time connectives. Lots of cross curricular skills being used to complete our task.

Year 2 & 3 have had a wonderful day at Llancaiach Fawr They completed a workshop to learn about the lives of children in the past and took a tour of the Manor House.
