Today we had a good practice and afterward we had some time to just check our players gear and make sure everything is ok. We do this on a regular basis. We are very lucky to have a nice set of CHANNELLOCK® tools.
Using the multi CHANNELLOCK® screwdriver with a flat head and a Phillips head makes things easier when tightening goalie cages.
CHANNELLOCK® has a really nice utility knife that we use to clean up the skate holders. They get nicked up during practice and games. So we use this utility knife to clean up the nicked up plastic on the holders.
Using the CHANNELLOCK® utility knife to cut off the damaged plastic that’s on the holder.
The Penguins equipment staff has been working with CHANNELLOCK® for 3 years and we are now in the 4th year. The tools they have provided to us are still helping us with repairs.
Working in the equipment room at the practice rink changing some skate steel with our CHANNELLOCK® tools - a flathead screwdriver, an awl and a nut driver to tighten the steel to the skate holder.
These are 3 CHANNELLOCK® tools we use in our bench bags at practice or games. The utility knife is used to cut off ripped tape on players sticks. The multi 6-in-1 screwdriver is good for tightening visors or goalie mask cages. Lastly the awl is used to change skate steel
We have been using all kinds of different CHANNELLOCK® tools and these are some pliers and diagonal cutters: tongue and groove pliers, adjustable wrench and High Leverage wrench. They all come in handy when doing repairs to our travel trunks and sometimes cutting plastic.
Using a CHANNELLOCK® Tongue & Groove pair of pliers to remove the dust intake on our skate machine so we can clean it.
This is the top of a CHANNELLOCK® Diagonal Cutting plier that we use to cut thicker plastic to make protective pads for players gloves, pants and other things. The great thing is they are made in Meadville, PA!
