Well done to children, staff and parents at West Craven High & Castercliff Academy who took part in #TheBigPlasticCount earlier this year. The national results are now in and show just how much we need to cut the amount of plastic that is being produced.

All five of our schools are taking part in #NoMowMay again this month. A section in each of our school grounds will be left uncut throughout this month to deliver enormous gains for nature, communities and the climate.

Our family of schools will be taking part in Walk/Cycle to School Week from 20th May. During this week, we're encouraging families from our primary and seconadary schools to think about ways to travel actively to and from school, making our roads safer and reducing pollution.

As we head towards the end of the academic year - and our Year 6 and 11 children prepare to move on the next stage of their educational journeys - all of our schools are once again taking donations of clean pre-loved uniforms to pass on to other families.
