14 hrs nontop birding yesterday with Pelle Mellov and Leho . 132sp and 3rd place at Estonian Opem being result. Barred Warbler was our ace, while we also found a Ural and 2 Pygmy Owls, Turtle Dove, Citrine Wag, 3 Broad-billed Sands.

Female #MarshHarrier ringed in 2014 in the nest #AiguamollsEmpordà. Today, breeding female in her 8CY in the same area, only 3.5 km from where she was born. Two notes: the plumage design and iris colour acquired at the end of the 2CY does not change over the years.

A record breaking irruption of RF Falcons in Estonia (and also in Finland). Largest flock reported so far have been 90 birds and around 500 ind. found in total. Had 4 birds near Tallinn this PM.

Today was the first day with good trapping conditions, and young falconer and aspiring biologist Giorgi managed to catch no less than 5 Eurasian Sparrowhawks and 1 Levant Sparrowhawk this morning. The Levant Sparrowhawk was named Kimara and got a GPS tag to log its journey. 2/2
